Sling Psychrometer Kit

Measure relative humidity with this simple sling psychrometer.  Each psychrometer contains a wet and dry bulb Celsius thermometer that rotates on a plastic handle. Students swing the psychrometer to determine the temperature difference between the wet and dry bulbs (wet bulb depression). The relative humidity can be determined by using a standard graph showing the intersection of lines of dry bulb temperature and wet bulb depression. Each kit includes a sling psychrometer with wet bulb, wick, rubber band and a dry bulb thermometer that rotates on a plastic handle.
Available as individual kits or a classroom set of 15.  Recommended for students in grades 6 through 12.
