Investigating Plate Tectonics Classroom Project

The evidence supporting the theory of Plate Tectonics is shown on this chart. The teacher’s reference chart (18" x 24" in wood frame) uses graphics and mounted rock specimens to assist students in identifying unlabeled rock specimens. As each specimen is identified, each student progresses toward the completion of his or her individual chart.  Includes the following components:

• Framed reference chart, complete with mounted specimens
• 30 Student charts, reproduced on heavy card stock
• 30 Specimens of rocks to be studied
• Test kit (streak plate, glass plate, hand lens, magnet, dropper bottle, nail, penny, and hardness scale)
• Rocks and Minerals Study Guide
