Heavy-Duty Magnetic Stirrer, 2.5 L Capacity

Choose between stirrers can stir up to 2.5 liters (0.66 gallons) or 5.0 liters (1.3 gallons).  Electronic controls are incorporated into these stirrers to allow users to regulate speed with precision.  In addition to speed control, a limiter assures that the maximum speed will never be exceeded.  This feature, called Speedsafe, stops the stirrer motor from accelerating as soon as the load is removed from the stirrer work surface.  The 5.0 liter model has an automatic feedback feature that maintains the chosen speed as the load changes.  If the viscosity or the level (fluid weight) increases or decreases, the circuitry will adjust the output power to keep the speed constant.  Both models have a stainless steel cover that offers excellent protection against most harmful chemicals.
