Bimetal Strip (Compound Bar)
A quick and easy tool for demonstrating thermal properties of matter. Bar is bi-metallic and has a wooden handle attached. When heated, the metal with the greater coefficient of expansion causes the bar to bend dramatically. An activity sheet is included. Dimensions 9" x 1" x 1".
