What kind of products are on your site?
Science Enthusiast specializes in offering science equipment and supplies for professionals and hobbyists. We believe that many of the products used in laboratory and classroom settings are of interest to people who enjoy learning about science at home. There are many wonderful science products that historically have not been conveniently available to private individuals. We are in business to offer these high-quality science products to everyone.

Do you have an order minimum?
We do not have a minimum order requirement.  All orders are subject to shipping charges and applicable sales taxes (only charged to Illinois customers).

What do you charge for shipping?
We have a standard schedule of shipping rates for various sized orders. Please see the Shipping Rates section of our site for more details.

Do you offer expedited shipping?
We can usually accommodate rush shipping requests. Expedited shipping rates are dependent on the items being ordered, the shipping destination, and how fast a shipment is needed. The products on Science Enthusiast vary widely in size and value, so expedited shipping rates are calculated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us Monday through Friday at 1-888-288-5450 between 8:00 and 5:00 pm Central time to discuss expedited shipping options for your order.

What are my ordering options?
You may order securely online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or call us at 1-888-288-5450 with your credit card information during business hours - 8:00 am - 5:00pm Central time, Monday through Friday. You may also mail your order, with payment made out to Duffey Marketing Group, Inc., 1936 Lisson Road, Naperville, IL 60565. Please remember to calculate the appropriate shipping charges for your order. If you prefer to order using a Purchase Order, please see the "Can I use a purchase order?" FAQ below.

What type of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.

Is your credit card ordering system secure?
Yes. Your privacy is important to us. Secure online ordering is provided by Authorize.net. Your credit card number or electronic check will be processed securely through their servers and is not stored or even available to ScienceEnthusiast.com. Please see the Privacy Policy section of our site for more details.

Can I use a purchase order?
Schools and government agencies may use purchase orders. The PO must have a contact phone number and an authorization signature, and be made out to Duffey Marketing Group, Inc., not ScienceEnthusiast.com. Our full mailing address is Duffey Marketing Group, Inc., 1936 Lisson Road, Naperville, IL 60565. Your PO can be mailed to the address above, emailed to us at Info@ScienceEnthusiast.com, or faxed to us at 630-305-3958. Please remember to calculate the appropriate shipping charges for your order. If you have any questions about your eligibility to order using a PO, please contact us via email at Info@ScienceEnthusiast.com to set up an account with us before you submit your first PO.

I would rather not use my credit card online. What should I do?
You can call us at 1-888-288-5450 with your credit card information during business hours - 8:00 am - 5:00pm Central time, Monday through Friday. We would be happy to call you at a time convenient for you - to request a call, please email a time and phone number to us at Info@ScienceEnthusiast.com. You may also mail your order, with payment information and shipping charges included, to Duffey Marketing Group, Inc., 1936 Lisson Road, Naperville, IL 60565.

Do you ship to countries other than the United States?
At the present time we are only able to ship to customers within the United States. Our Shipping Rates are for customers in the contiguous 48 states. Orders shipped to customers in Alaska and Hawaii will be subject to higher shipping rates, and these customers should contact us at Info@ScienceEnthusiast.com or 888-288-5450 for actual shipping charges.

Are your products guaranteed?
Science Enthusiast has a 30-Day Guarantee covering defective products. We will also accept returns within 30 days on non-defective products, but these are subject to a restocking charge. Please see our 30-Day Guarantee and Returns Policy for more details. Most of our products are also covered by Manufacturer Warranties. Science Enthusiast is careful to work with only well-established, reputable manufacturers, so we are confident that we will be able to satisfy any product-related concerns that you may have.

Do you charge sales tax?
We are located in Illinois, and charge applicable sales taxes to all Illinois customers. Customers outside of Illinois will not be charged sales tax by Science Enthusiast.

Do you carry products other than those shown on your web site?
Our web site has our complete active product offering. We have access to many additional products through our network of manufacturers. If you are looking for a product not offered on Science Enthusiast, please inquire at Info@ScienceEnthusiast.com.  We may be able to find the product for you, or we can direct you to another company who carries the product.

Do you have a print catalog?
At the present time we do not publish a print catalog.  By avoiding the expense of producing a catalog, we are able to offer high quality products at low prices.  If you would like to be notified of new product additions and special offers, please sign up for our newsletter by entering your email address in the box on the left side of this page.
